Merry Christmas to all

Hi Readers, Murphy here. What a year it's been with crazy women making demands of me and saying my blog upsets people. As we say here in Australia, they just need to "Harden Up".

Anyway, all of us here at the house of hound would like to wish you a very merry Christmas. Stay safe and I'll see you in the new year.

As Prancer was born at Christmas time, he volunteered to be my model this year. He is such a happy smiley chappy!

Happy 11th Birthday Murphy

My darling boy turns 11 years old today and I can't imagine my life now without him and his kin in it.

Murphy has inspired many adoptions since he has owned us and will continue to do so.

How Remiss of Me

Hi Readers, life has been so busy lately that I have neglected to introduce young Jack who is my granddad's dog that visits us here at the house of hound.

Jack is an American cocker spaniel who is such a delight to have around.

 See, I told you he was a cutie.

Happy Birthday Mum

Hi Readers, Mum had a very special birthday yesterday. To celebrate, Dad arranged to get some friends together on Sunday and they all had a greyt time. I couldn't go because I wasn't allowed into the pub, talk about canine discrimination! Dad said I was better behaved than most of the other patrons.

Anyway, take a look at Mum's terrific cake with me taking pride of place on the couch. Even little brother Jack the American cocker spaniel is there.

It looks almost too good to eat, but I did say almost. Yum! we love you Mum for looking after us and all the GAP greyhounds in your care.

Vale Homer

Dear Readers, brother Homer passed away suddenly last week and we have all been devastated by his passing.

Homer was a darling boy that loved nothing more to play amongst the chickens and sunbathe. His calm and beautiful nature will be missed by all. Run free at the rainbow bridge sweet brother.
